The Bourns® SRP Series high current shielded power inductors are developed to meet the challenge of today’s high performance electronic devices that are increasingly power hungry and operating in higher switching frequencies, starving for speed and shrinking in size. Most Bourns® SRP Series devices are designed with flat wire and a magnetic alloy compound molded construction making them compact, magnetically shielded devices with low DC resistance and high current carrying capability. These power inductors are ideally suited for use in DC/DC converters for mobile electronic devices, computers, data storage and voltage regulator modules.
The new recently released automotive models (AEC-Q200 qualified) are manufactured with a carbonyl powder core featuring high saturation current and shielded construction for low magnetic radiation. Available inductances are 0.1 – 47 μH. Inductor footprints range from 4.5 x 4.1 to 13.5 x 12.5 mm; heights range from 1.0 to 6.2 mm; Irms up to 55 A and Isat up to 118 A.
