This series is much more compact than other versions available in the market, results competitive in terms of capacitance per unit of volume even when compared to electrolytic designs together with other parameters (Capacitance stability, life time, etc,…).

EPCOS presents a wide range of capacitances and voltages going up to 110 mF in a maximum volume of 35x50x57.5mm3. Typical industrial applications where DC-Link capacitors play an important roll are uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), and more generally inverters such as the solar inverter in the most recent years.
