PTC Inrush Current Limiter | EPCOS
The PTC Inrush Current Limiter "J" type series is used for smoothing and DC link capacitor applications. The component is designed to replace high-power fixed resistors for capacitor charging applications. The "J" type series is a enclosed plastic housing style device suitable for harsh enviroments and is PCB mountable. These products are suitable for customers producing inverters between 500W and 50kW accordingly. The “self-protecting resistors” can also make use of synergies with electrolytic capacitors, power capacitors, and inductors.
