The G6K's innovative design condenses Omron's extensive experience and responsiveness to industry demands into a tiny, extremely sensitive and high efficient package. The G6K supper Mini Loop Communications Relay is Omron's fourth generation relay, and it's design is based on teh popular G6S relay. This design has become an industry standard because of its space-saving features, durability and compatibility with high-speed assembly.

The G6K has a new magnetic armature design to  create the smallest relay available in overall size and the smallest relay to meet Bellcore's 2.5KV surge requirements while maintaining reliability, low power and durability. The G6K also complies with UL1950 Basic Insulation at 125V (pollution degree 1 for internal spacings, pollution degree 2 for external spacings).

The key to the G6K is its newly designed magnetic armature.This unique design improves on our "Super Moving Loop" technology.The G6K’s permanent magnet is not in the middle of the coil like the "Super Moving Loop"; it is in a parallel position above the coil. By moving the permanent magnet above the coil, we were able to decrease its size, making it more than 17% smaller than other relays. This allows higher density in side-by-side mounting.The new design also allowed us to increase the number of windings on the coil and improve the relay’s efficiency.
