Vishay Power Surface Mount Resistors

Built on Vishay's patented Power Metal Strip® technology, the new Power Surface Mount Resistors  are constructed with the solderable copper terminals welded directly to a self-supporting solid metal resistive element. The result is a highly stable device that combines extremely low resistance and low RTC with strong surge-handling capabilities.

These resistors serves as a high-accuracy, cost-effective replacement for through-hole resistors enabling total solder reflow board assembly, and eliminating the need for lead forming and lead trimming in the manufacturing process.
