IRC CHC series BGA Termination Arrays

For high density applications such as high speed router/switch back planes and computer busses; arrays or networks of resistors are used for termination of multiple high data rate digital lines.  For example, eighteen termination resistors are enclosed in the IRC CHC-CC0910B 3mm x 9mm ball grid array package.  The elimination of wraparound terminations enables excellent frequency performance to over 20 GHz in high speed termination applications. 

The CHC series is available in three ball pitches; 0.65mm, 1.0mm and 1.25mm with a wide variety of schematics and ball counts. Ohmic values to 10k ohms allow the CHC series to be used in pull-up/pull-down applications as well as high speed digital termination.  Single ended as well as differential termination applications benefit from the excellent high frequency performance and high density packaging available in the CHC and CHC-SCSI products.
