Panasonic’s Interference Suppression CapThe ECQ-U(L) capacitors are both Class X2 (across the line) and Class Y2/X2 (line-by-line) type capacitors. These capacitors connect directly into AC power lines and are required to prevent electric shock and fire hazard. Therefore, a high safety concept is particularly required and safety regulations are established throughout the world. The ECQ-U(L) series capacitors are UL, CSA, and VDE recognized, and meet the testing requirements of other certification bodies in Europe, such as, SEMKO, DEMKO, NEMKO, FIMKO and SEV etc. They are compact in size and use a flame retardant plastic case and non-combustible resin. They are highly stable, non-inductive and use a self-healing Metallized Polyester Film dielectric material. Capacitance values range from 0.001uF to 2.2uF with tolerances of +/-10% and +/-20%.
