This new series employs a zinc-oxide technology that features low-capacitance loading on those data lines while providing the desired protection at a wide range of varistor voltages. The series is available in three case sizes, 0603, 0402, and 0201; capable of providing protection within your smallest electronic product. The Varistor Voltage for this series ranges from 12 to 170 volts and has Maximum Capacitance-loading values from 330 pF down to 1.5 pF, while having parts capable of handling peak currents up to 20 amperes. This series is also capable of handling a Contact-Discharge-Voltage of 8 KV and an Air-Gap-Discharge-Voltage of 15 KV (as per IEC61000-4-2).
