Bob Hult has been in the connector industry for more than 36 years. Starting as a Sales Engineer with Amphenol in 1968, he joined AMP, Inc. in 1972 and held a variety of positions including District Product Manager, Manager Regional New Product Specialists, Advanced Packaging Products Manager, District Sales Manager, and Manager Field Applications / Manpower Development. In 1997 he joined Foxconn as Group Marketing Manager. He has been a contributing member of the Bishop & Associates team since 2002. Bishop & Associates provides specialized services including, custom market research, multiple client studies, surveys, merger & acquisition assistance, and executive recruiting. |

Grace Showers is a Global Product Manager in the CDC division at FCI, Inc. Grace has more than 17 years of experience in the connector industry. She has been with FCI for five years as a Global Product Manager with products that include the HPC (High Pin Count), PwrBlade Power Distribution System and the MEG-Array and GIG-Array Mezzanine Connector Systems. Her prior experiences include 12 years with Tyco (AMP), Inc. as a Sales Engineer and a Product Manager for RF Connectors. |

David Brearley, Market Development Manager for Molex, has been active in the high density connector development since the 1980s. He has been very active in standards efforts around backplane and mezzanine connectors, including the IEEE 1386 connector now known as the PMC connector. He is currently working with PICMG to define solutions for the Advanced Mezzanine Card connectors. He was draft editor for the IEEE1301.3 Metric Equipment Practice. |
