FORT WORTH, TEXAS ─ May 11, 2006 ─ As part of TTI’s ongoing expansion plan, Gene Conahan, Sr. Vice President North American Sales and President, TTI Europe, today announced organizational changes that will provide an infrastructure foundation to accompany the company’s future growth. In announcing these organizational changes, Conahan noted, “To meet the goals that we have set for the company over the next few years, our business must continue to grow both in size and in complexity. Consequently, our organizational structure must evolve to meet the challenges that this growth brings.”
Four new senior staff positions have been put in place as the cornerstone of this new structure. Long-time TTI veterans Dave Williamson and Joe Venturella are slated to fill two of these key positions. Williamson steps into the position of Vice President, North American Sales. During his tenure at TTI he has held the position of General Manager of the Arizona branch and most recently served as Regional Vice President of the South Central Region. The six TTI regional vice presidents will report directly to Williamson and he will be responsible for all TTI North America branch sales locations.
Venturella takes on the newly created position of Vice President, Automotive Business Unit. Regarding this position Conahan said, “We believe that this industry segment offers TTI an untapped business potential and a unique opportunity to work more closely with TTI suppliers in this large North America market.” Venturella’s experience includes distribution sales, and longevity in OEM direct sales which qualifies him to head up this new business unit for TTI, Conahan added.
New hire Ron Schroeder joins the TTI roster as Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions. Schroeder comes to TTI from Future Electronics where he was responsible for all global supply chain program activity. He will have the primary responsibility of increasing the number of programs, and developing new features and benefits for TTI customers that will favorably differentiate TTI from its competitors. All regional supply chain managers will report to Schroeder.
Tony Miller has accepted the new position of Vice President, Sales Excellence. In this position Miller will be responsible for overseeing the continuation of integrating Value Based Selling (VBS) as the backbone of the TTI sales culture. In addition, Miller will be responsible for Sales Operations and all sales training activities including the management of the Business Development Group.
Other staff positions reporting to Conahan will stay the course. Bill Murphy, remains as Vice President SAS Sales, heading up this important division. Don Freeman, Vice President Strategic Sales, continues to provide high level support and coordination of our strategic customers. In Europe, Glyn Dennehy will continue in the role of Vice President/Managing Director, TTI Europe with full responsibility for the European business unit.
This organizational structure and the leadership changes are effective as of June 1, 2006.
