TTI, Inc. Receives First-Time Award Honors From Ohmite and Spectrum Control

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - July 18, 2007 - TTI, Inc., the world's leading passive and connector specialist in the electronics industry, has received first-time award recognition from suppliers Ohmite and Spectrum Control.

Ohmite is a leading provider of resistors for high current, high voltage and high energy applications. Gregory Pace, Director of Global Sales and Marketing for Ohmite, offered these comments about the recent award presentation. The Chairman’s award  recognizes sustained growth for a two-year period without a negative point of acquisition  (POA) and is extremely tough to win. "We partnered with TTI in 2005 and quickly learned that TTI has the same business philosophy as Ohmite and from that standpoint we knew that from the top down it was a good fit for both companies. We hope this is the first of many awards we present to honor the accomplishments of TTI." Jeff Ray, TTI Vice President of Supplier Marketing, said, "Ohmite’s quality reputation and ability to develop custom solutions for our mutual customer base has fueled our growth over the last few years. We are excited about future growth opportunities with Ohmite in North America as well as globally."

Spectrum Control, is recognized as the leader in the design and manufacture of control products and systems used to condition, regulate and govern electronic performance. Mark Lyons, Global Distribution Sales Manager, said, "We are thrilled to present TTI with the inaugural Distributor of the Year award. It was a tremendous year for Spectrum Control and TTI and this award reflects our appreciation for TTI’s continued support and dedication in reaching our mutual goals. This award is based on TTI's overall performance and dedication to finding new customers and developing new business opportunities. With nearly double the amount of design registrations from the previous year, TTI is well positioned for continued growth in the years to come. The dynamic working relationships established at all levels of the TTI and Spectrum Control organizations made this success possible. Congratulations to the entire TTI team.”
Lew LaFornara, Vice President Product Management for TTI, commented on this achievement, "We are proud of the success that we are having with Spectrum Control, and that they appreciate the value we bring to our mutual customers."
