FORT WORTH, TEXAS  ─ May 31, 2006 ─ TTI, Inc., the world’s leading passive and connector specialist in the electronics industry, has received the illustrious 2005 Partnership award from Amphenol Corporation. Amphenol, one of the world’s largest connector manufacturers, presented the award at the annual Electronic Distribution Show (EDS) in Las Vegas, Nev.

Martin Loeffler, Chairman and CEO of Amphenol, said, “TTI was authorized by Amphenol in 1993.  Over the past 12 years, our relationship has grown into a true partnership creating a significant and mutually beneficial relationship for both companies.  It therefore gives all of us at Amphenol great pleasure to recognize the team at TTI through the “Partnership” award for the best overall performance in North America in 2005.  We look forward to a strong future together.”

Lew LaFornara, Vice President of Supplier Marketing at TTI, remarked, “We are extremely proud to be recognized by Amphenol as their best performing distributor in North America. This award is a result of the close working relationship we have with all of the Amphenol Divisions, and of the commitment both organizations have made to satisfying our mutual customers.  This award also validates our on-going efforts to become the “most preferred” connector distributor by offering the largest available to sell inventory, leading edge technology, and best in class supply chain programs.”

Amphenol’s Partnership award is the corporation’s most prestigious award presented to their distributors in North America. The recipient is the distributor that has the best performance with Amphenol including largest sales growth, sales of products from all divisions, and overall commitment to success.

The receipt of this connector distributor award follows the Excalibur Distributor of the Year award presented to TTI by Tyco Electronics in December 2005 for TTI’s connector distribution efforts.
