TTI, Inc. Names Lew Lafornara to VP Supplier Marketing

FORT WORTH, TX ─ May 17, 2005 ─ Lew LaFornara has been named the new Vice President of Supplier Marketing at TTI, Inc, reporting to Michael Knight, Vice President of Product Management and Supplier Marketing. LaFornara comes to TTI from Future Electronics where he was Vice President of Interconnect Products for the past two years. Prior to Future, he worked for Berg Electronics (now known as FCI) for nine years in a variety of distribution focused roles, the most recent being Vice President of Worldwide Distribution sales.

LaFornara’s experience working for both component manufacturers and component distributors is made to order for his new role as a Vice President of Supplier Marketing at TTI. His focus will be on the connector and electromechanical business sectors, and his objective is to chart the course for TTI to become both the customers’ and suppliers’ preferred distributor for both product sets.

The VP Supplier Marketing role is an outward facing one that is focused on optimizing the interaction between TTI suppliers, sales forces and product management teams.
Specific responsibilities include ownership of the corporate marketing plan for the product sets. LaFornara also will have the responsibility to organize and lead supplier business reviews, oversee preparation of annual and rolling supplier forecasts, develop and implement industry-specific product strategies and monitor and report on business trends.
