The PS series buzzers are high-performance leaded buzzers that employ unimorph piezoelectric elements within a robust thermoplastic polymer housing.  The buzzers do not contain the drive circuit, allowing for an affordable sound solution.  These buzzers feature extremely low power consumption in comparison to electromagnetic units.  Because these buzzers are designed for external excitation, the same part can produce a musical tone oscillator as well as buzzer.
