High-Temperature Operation Guaranteed IGBT/MOSFET Gate Drive Coupler | Toshiba
The TLP350H is a DIP8-package IC coupler that can directly drive a small to medium capacity IGBT and power MOSFET. The use of a new long-life LED has allowed a wider guaranteed operation temperature (up to 125°C) than that of the previous model, TLP350 (a maximum of 100°C). This product is suitable for use in home appliances or industry devices that are required to operate in high temperature environments. In recent years, there has been increasing use of bootstrap power supplies to drive photocouplers in order to achieve simplified design, and so there are increasing demands for lower consumption current for photocouplers. The TLP350H’s low power consumption at a power supply current of 3.0 mA (maximum), the best power consumption in the industry, has been achieved by the adoption of the Bi-CMOS process.
