The Modular Plugs consist of unshielded and shielded varieties. They offer compact size, high reliability and will meet FCC Rules and Regulations, Part 68; and the high performance Category 5 plugs exceed TIA/EIA-568A requirements. Mass termination of the plugs provide a low applied cost. A variety of application tooling is available.

Modular Plugs accommodate both single or multicore tinsel, solid and stranded wire for telephone or non-telephone applications. Modular plugs are produced and sold under license from AT&T and mate with FCC accepted jacks, shielded or unshielded.

Application tooling for modular plugs is available in a wide variety from hand tools to more sophisticated automated tools. These tools give fast and accurate termination of modular plugs onto cable.
