FCI Rib-Cage™ Connectors

The FCI Rib-Cage™ is a versatile family of two-piece, two-row pin-and-socket connectors for right angle and mezzanine connections between printed circuit boards (PCB) or flexible printed circuits (FPC). The Rib-Cage™ multi-point, gold plated receptacle contacts provide optimal reliability in high vibration and shock-prone applications. The high density 1.27mm (.050 in.) x 1.27mm (.050 in.) double row contact grid occupies only 20% of the volume of comparable .100 in. pitch systems. Rib-Cage™ connectors allow for multiple stack height options that offer flexibility for mezzanine connection designs, as well as additionally offering multiple PCB positioning and PCB attachment options which suit customer assembly requirements. Sizes are available from 10 through 100 total positions and all Rib-Cage™ connectors are Lead-free and use RoHS compatible plating which satisfies environmental regulations.
