Small Form Factor Pluggable System (SFP) | TE Connectivity

The SFP System (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) supports hot swap of various types of fiber optics and copper-based transceivers into host equipment. This allows the customer to have a flexible change between different protocols. The different applications are Fiber Channel, Ethernet, and Infiniband. SFP board cages exist in multiple versions that fit AdvancedTCA® systems.
