HiCV SMD MLCC Additions in X5R Dielectric

KEMET's Ceramic Business Group has added two new HiCV part types to KEMET's surface mount X5R MLCC product portfolio. Values added to the portfolio include a 4.7µF - 4V part type offered in an EIA 0402 case size, as well as a 22µF - 10V part type offered in an EIA 1206 case size. These new releases represent excellent ceramic MLCC business potential for you and your customers. They meet the same high performance standards of KEMET's other ceramic capacitors, offering long component life, increased reliability and nondirectional polarization for simplified component mounting. Circuit functions of these capacitors would include decoupling and output filtering applications in devices such as gaming consoles, laptops, desktops, handheld devices, and telecommunications applications.

Tyco Electronics - PC/104 and PC/104 Plus

The PC/104 and PC/104-Plus connectors are industry standard product offerings, which comply with the interconnection requirements defined by the PC/104 organization. Both products are designed specifically for "flat-rock" press-fit installation for ease of application. Solder version is also available.

Bourns - ChipGuard® ESD Products

Bourns released two new ChipGuard® ESD products. The new CG0402MLU/CG0603MLU was designed with an ultra low capacitance, and the CG0805MLA-5.5ME and CG0805MLA-18KE devices provide protection for products like computers, analog modems, and PDAs.

The new CG0402MLU/CG0603MLU series, providing a 3.3V to 24VDC working voltage, has been designed to provide the engineer with an ultra low maximum capacitance of 0.05pF.

The CG0805MLA-5.5ME and CG0805MLA-18KE devices provide Quad (4) ESD Suppressors in an 0805 chip package, which offers the designer standard capacitance values for general ESD protection applications.
