Polyfuse PPTC - Surface Mount | Littlefuse
Littelfuse offers surface mount PTCs in various footprints (0603, 0805, 1206, 1812) and current ratings (.10A - 2.6A) which provides overcurrent protection for applications where space is at a premium and resettable protection is desired. Littelfuse Polymer PTCs are made chiefly of high density polyethylen and mixed with graphite. During an overcurrent event, a Polymer PTC will heat and expand, which causes the conducting particles to break contact and stop the current.
