The GF Safety caps have internationally recognized certifications (UL (X1, Y2), SEMKO (Y2)).   They are used in power supplies as "across the line" and "line to ground" noise filters, switching, and in secondary coupling applications.  They come in one temperature coefficient (TC's):

R7:  X7R -55 - +125℃ +\- 15% change over that range      (10% Capacitance tolerance (K)) 

The Capacitance range is 470- 4700 pF in the X7R TC.  For reflow soldering only.
