Fort Worth, TX – December 11, 2012 – TTI, Inc., a global distributor of interconnect, passive, electromechanical and discrete components, today announced its participation in the annual Toys for Tots campaign exceeded expectations on the number of toys collected at its corporate headquarters. Local employees donated more than 800 toys to the charity event sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
The toys were presented to U.S. Marine Corps personnel at the employee Christmas lunch. At that time, Mike Morton, President, TTI Americas, expressed his appreciation to the employees for generously donating to the worthy seasonal cause that provides toys to less fortunate children in the community.
On the heels of the toy drive, this past weekend TTI hosted the fourth annual Santa Day program for employees and their families. Little ones wrote letters to Santa, decorated gingerbread men and shopped for gifts for their parents in the beautifully decorated gingerbread storefront created expressly for the event by a volunteer team of employees. Santa stayed busy throughout the day posing for pictures and taking more than 300 wish list requests.
