TTI, Inc. Provides Customers with Advanced “One Search” Functionality

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – October 13, 2009 – TTI, Inc., a global distributor of connector, passive, electromechanical and discrete components, offers another first to its customers by merging the functionality of ezBuy with its best in class Part Search.

By streamlining the process that customers use to purchase parts online, ezBuy customers can use TTI’s Part Search with either a TTI part number or their internal part number. The customer simply types a part number into the Part Search bar at the top of and it is automatically bounced against their ezBuy parts list for a match. If no reasonable match is found in the ezBuy parts list, the part number is bounced against TTI’s broad online inventory. In addition, ezBuy’s traditional function as a quick and easy view of an internal parts list will remain in place so customers have both options available.

Kevin Schubert, eBusiness Director said, “The ability to search simultaneously by customer part number and manufacturer part number has been sought after in the industry and at TTI, and we’re proud to be the first distributor to offer this initiative.” He continued, “We value our customers’ feedback and have the ultimate goal of building the most user-centric website in the marketplace and this enhancement goes a long way toward achieving that goal.”
