Fort Worth, Texas – March 9, 2016 − TTI, Inc., the leading authorized distributor of interconnect, passive, electromechanical and discrete components, today announced the winners of its prestigious 2015 Americas Supplier Excellence Awards.
Melanie Pizzey, TTI Vice President Global Business Operations, made the announcement. “TTI is pleased to recognize the following suppliers for their outstanding performance in 2015: AVX, Bourns, KEMET Electronics, KOA Speer Electronics, Littelfuse, Molex, Murata, Nichicon, Phoenix Contact, TDK-Epcos, Vishay and Yageo.”
TTI presents Bourns, KEMET, KOA, Littelfuse, Murata, Phoenix Contact, TDK-Epcos and Vishay with the Platinum accomplishment status. Platinum achievement level requires five consecutive years of award recognition, and continuous recognition is required to maintain Platinum status.
The Diamond award for the highest overall point achievement and the Best Quality award for the supplier who scored highest in each of the quality categories will be presented to KOA Speer Electronics for the sixth year in a row acknowledging their distinguished performance in the Americas.
The Gold award will be presented to Nichicon for four consecutive years of recognition and the Silver award to Molex for three years of recognition. AVX will be honored with the Bronze award for two consecutive years of achievement and Yageo is a first time winner.
In its fifth year, the Global Operations Excellence Award recognizes the supplier who earns the award in all three TTI regions – Americas, Europe and Asia, and who scores the highest total points globally. This year the Global Operations Excellence award is presented to Bourns, Inc. Pizzey commented, “Bourns worked diligently throughout the year to support TTI in all three regions, the employees of Bourns are to be commended for their outstanding performance.” The award ceremony will be held this year at the TTI Supplier Executive Breakfast meeting at the Electronic Distribution Show (EDS) in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
The TTI SEA program focuses on quality measurements that include: on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer-reported quality, administrative quality, operations and business systems. “All measurements,” noted Pizzey, “that ensure our customers the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the right parts will be on their production line exactly when they need them.”
