Quickie® press-fit shrouded headers complement ICC’s comprehensive family of Quickie® ribbon-cable receptacles and solderto-board PCB headers. The spring-tension, “Eye-of-Needle” compliant section reduces insertion force during connector installation, thereby minimizing stress on the plated-through holes during insertion while still providing ample contact force and connector retention.

The press-fit headers are offered in low-profile, slimline versions or versions equipped with end latches. Two latch options are available. Standard-height latches are compatible with an IDC receptacle having an installed cable strain relief. Low-profile latches are designed to accommodate an IDC receptacle without a strain relief. The protective shrouds also feature a polarizing keyway to accommodate the center key on a corresponding IDC receptacle.

These dual-row headers utilize 0.64mm (0.025”) square pins spaced on 2.54mm (0.100”) x 2.54mm (0.100”) pitch. Twelve standard connector sizes provide from 10 to 60 total contact positions.
