The NPA is a new family of OEM miniature pressure sensing products offering best in class performance for OEM applications in healthcare, industrial and transportation markets. Packaged in an industry standard surface mount SOIC14 pin package, the NPA Series is available in Gage, Absolute or Differential pressure ranges from 0 to 10" H20 to 0 to 30PSI with either uncalibrated millivolt outputs or in fully calibrated, amplified analog or 14bit digital outputs.

The NovaSensor® NPI Series incorporates state-of-the-art IsoSensor technology, which gives the OEM user the best in price and performance. They are designed to operate in hostile environments and yet give the outstanding sensitivity, linearity, and hysteresis of a silicon sensor. The piezoresistive sensor chip is housed in a fluid filled cylindrical cavity and isolated from measured media by a stainless steel diaphragm and body. As with all NovaSensor® silicon sensors, the NPI Series employs SenStable® processing technology, providing excellent output stability.

The NPP-301 Series features silicon pressure sensors in surface mount packages. An ultra-small Silicon Fusion Bonded (SFB), ultra-high stability SenStable® piezoresistive chip from NovaSensor is placed in a plastic package that exploits high volume, leadframe package technology to bring forth a low-cost sensor alternative to the OEM user.

NPX1 integrates a silicon pressure sensor, an 8-bit RISC processor, and a LF-input stage to meet market demands for flexible, customer specific behavior/solutions and overall system cost reduction for the Remote Tire Pressure Monitoring (RTPM) customer. The programmable version of this sensor is available for development purposes, allowing the customer to download the application code in an electrically programmable EEPROM version.

The latest techniques in micromachining have been used to ion-implant piezoresistive strain gauges into a wheatstone bridge configuration that is integrally formed on a micromachined silicon diaphragm. As with all NovaSensor silicon sensors, the NPH Series employs SenStable® processing technology, providing excellent output stability. Constant current excitation to the sensor produces a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the input pressure.

Constant current excitation to the sensor produces a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the input pressure. The user can provide standard signal conditioning circuitry to amplify the 100 mV output signal.
