Kyocera AVX's UQ series RF capacitors are low fire dielectric caps whose near pure silver electrodes allow for superior conductivity. They are designed to minimize ESR while maximizing high Q to improve the overall performance of RF and microwave circuit designs. The UQ series has the lowest ESR and highest Q ratings of any RF capacitor on the market at frequencies higher than 900MHz.
UQ series RF capacitors are available in case sizes ranging from 0402 to 1210 and voltages from 50V to 500V. Tolerances range from as tight as +/- 0.1 pF for tolerances < 10 pF to as much as 20% for values > 10 pF. These capacitors were designed with MRI devices, high power industrial equipment, military, satellite, and radar applications in mind, but can be utilized anywhere where ultra low ESR and high Q are critical.
