Bourns dual-packaged ceramic PTC offers telecom equipment designers two resistance matched CPTCs in a single surface mount component that significantly reduces assembly time and occupied board space. Telecom equipment may be damaged by current surges that occur due to lightning strikes or through interaction with the AC power network. Bourns® ceramic PTC devices provide telecommunication equipment resettable protection from these events. The Ceramic PTC thermistors have been designed to match and compliment the Bourns® family of TISP® thyristor-based overvoltage protection devices. Bourns® Circuit Protection Division dual surface mount range of Ceramic PTC thermistors combines two resistance matched Ceramic PTCs together in a single ceramic housing. At present 25, 35 and 50 ohm components are available as standard, other resistance values and tolerances are available on request
