Carling Technologies C Series Circuit Breakers are designed for high amperage and voltage applications. These circuit breakers exhibit a unique arc chute design that allows for higher interrupting capacities of up to 10000A. The thermoset glass-filled polyester half-shelf construction found in this compact circuit breaker provides found increased mechanical and electrical strength. These C circuit breakers additionally offer to wipe contacts with two-step actuation providing high, positive contact pressure and longer life.
The C Hydraulic/Magnetic circuit breakers feature the largest handle and rocker actuator styles available from Carling’s Breaker Series. These rocker-actuated configurations include options for a push-to-reset bezel and/or the exclusive rocker guard, that protects against inadvertent actuation. The C series circuit breakers are configurable as up to 100A breakers in one to six poles with handle actuators and one to three poles with a rocker or sealed toggle actuators. Typical applications include automation, commercial food, datacom, and renewable energy.
