Molex DIN 1.0/2.3 Connector and Backplane System

Molex's 1.0/2.3 connector and backplane system conform to CECC 22 230, DIN 47297 and DIN 41626. The compact design of the 1.0/2.3 permits dense connector packing; ideally suited to applications where space limitation is a factor. Molex has 50 and 75 Ohm designs available. Some versions of the 50 Ohm design are capable of operating to 10 GHz. Cable plugs are available with a unique push-pull coupling feature.

The addition of the Modular Backplane System enables system designers to improve system routing of RF signals for board-to-board communications. The first-to-market modular backplane design employs a bracket-housing concept that can be expanded to accommodate a wide range of RF ports, from two to ten. This allows PCB developers for video, commercial broadcast, and telecommunications the ability to transfer multiple RF signals across mated boards with a 1.00mm axial positioning tolerance.
