Panasonic introduces OS-CON Aluminum-Polymer Solid Capacitors. Available in both surface mount and through hole types, the OS-CON product line spans several series of Solid Electrolyte Aluminum Capacitors, which include the SVP, SVPC, SVPF, SVPE, SEP, SEPC, and SEPF Series. OS-CON Capacitors utilize aluminum and a high conductivity polymer material to offer low ESR, excellent noise reduction and ripple current capabilities. OS-CON parts are characterized by a long life span and minimal changes in ESR throughout the entire rated temperature range.

The SVP Series features a lifetime rating of up to 2000 hours @ 105°C and is used when there is a need to switch power supplies.

The SVPC Series can reduce the size of circuits and equipment. This series offers large capacitance, features super low ESR and a lifetime rating of up to 2000 hours @ 105°C.

The SVPE Series can reduce the size of circuits and equipment.  They feature a lifetime rating of up to 2000 hours @ 105°C and super low ESR.

The SVPF Series is perfect for use in DC/DC converters and other high voltage lines. They feature a lifetime rating of up to 5000 hours @ 105°C.

The SEP Series features a lifetime rating of up to 3000 hours @ 105°C and the radial version of the SVP series.

The SEPC Series offers a low profile and smaller size which is ideal for use on servers and motherboards.  This series features a lifetime rating of up to 5000 hours @ 105°C and super low ESR.

The SEPF Series offers high voltage and high capacitance which is great for use in high voltage lines such as  the input of DC/DC converters.  This series features a lifetime rating of up to 5000 hours @ 105°C.
