Panasonic’s technology and construction advances provide many performance alternatives for DC-to-DC converters. All are surface mount devices (SMD) having small case sizes with relatively low heights. The PCC-MC Series has a Metal Composite core material that offers high frequency performance in the MHz range, ultra-low DC Resistance with tight tolerances (+/- 5%), high current capability while having non-saturation characteristics with higher current.
The various NXx Series ( NX1, NX2, NX3 ) have a dust core material that offers higher inductance values while maintaining a relatively ‘flat’ inductance change versus current change. The N6 / N6B Series, with its Mn - Zn core material offers still higher inductance values.
