This TTI Tech Specs video for TE Connectivity T9G Relays explains T9G relays take up 13% less board space, consume up to 10% less energy, and are 30% smaller than other T9A relays. That makes the T9G the smallest relay in its class and perfect for saving board space in HVAC, appliance, and industrial control applications, giving engineers much more flexibility.

Some people think that bigger is better, but whoever designed TE Connectivity’s Potter & Brumfield 30A relay T9G series clearly disagrees, because T9G relays are 30% smaller than TE’s T9A relays. And even though they use the same footprint, T9G relays take up 13% less board space and consume up to 10% less energy. That makes the T9G the smallest relay in its class and perfect for saving board space in HVAC, appliance, and industrial control applications.
The T9G relay also gives designers complete flexibility. It’s offered with normally open, normally closed, and changeover contacts, coil voltages from 5 to 110 V. The relays are available with standard through hole PCB terminals, but certain configurations have PCB and quick connect terminals, making them even easier to install. T9G series relays also have UL, VDE, and CQC certifications and are RoHS compliant, so you can use these super small, super flexible relays across the globe.
