Dynamic 2000 Series are the next smallest connectors for signal lines in the Dynamic connector series. The 2000 series is available in a crimp version. The standard pitch is 2.5mm. The Dynamic 2000 series can accept wire ranges from 28 AWG to 18 AWG and can handle up to 5A . A special connector in the 2000 series is the 2600 which combines signal and power into one connector. The 2000 series shares its audible latching, keyed housings, vibration resistance, and full box contacts with the rest of the dynamic line.
These products consist of wire-to-board, wire-to-panel and wire-to-wire connectors with diverse housings available to meet most applications. The standardized contacts limit the amount of application tooling required. However, tooling solutions are available for automated termination as well as field terminations.
