The Vishay 225 EDLC-R ENYCAPTM series of electrical double-layer energy storage capacitors are suitable for diverse applications such as energy harvesting, power backup, UPS power source and burst power support for industrial automation. Featuring a ruggedized construction, the 225EDLC-R products are able to withstand a severe Bias Humidity testing at 85C and 85% Relative Humidity for up to 1,500h. Useful life specification is 2,000h at 85C, which delivers long operational life at lower application temperatures. The Vishay BCcomponents devices deliver a wide range of capacitance values in eight small case sizes ranging from 16 mm by 20 mm to 18 mm by 40 mm.
For the industrial, telecom, and PC markets, the polarized, energy storage capacitors offer high power density to 4.1 Wh/kg, capacitance values from 15 F to 60 F, and a rated voltage of 2.7 V at +65C. 225 EDLC-R ENYCAPTM series devices feature very low internal resistance and rapid charge and discharge performance. The through-hole capacitors offer long leads and are RoHS-compliant and AEC-Q200 qualified available (on request)
