Vishay T34 HI-TMP Wet Tantalum Capacitor

The Hi-TMP tantalum-cased, hermetically sealed wet tantalum capacitors from Vishay Intertechnology have a high temperature operation to +200 ⁰C. Offering increased reliability for industrial and oil exploration applications, the T34 series axial-leaded through-hole devices are optimized for timing, filtering, energy hold-up, and pulse power applications, including high vibration (sinusoidal: 80g; random: 54g) and mechanical shock (500g) capabilities.

Let’s talk about high temperatures. I’m not talking your standard industrial or even automotive temperature ranges. I’m talking about drilling-through-the-earth-in-search-of-oil temperatures. Vishay’s T34 Wet Tantalum HI-TMP ® Capacitors are life tested to up to 2000 hours at 200 degrees Celsius. The capacitors use a tantalum case with a glass-to-tantalum hermetic seal and axial leads, and they tolerate high vibration and mechanical shock, making them perfect for high temperature, high stress environments like petroleum exploration or the most extreme industrial applications.

The T34 series is offered with voltage ratings up to 70 volts DC at 200 degrees, and up to 125 volts at 85 degrees while capacitance values range between 10 and 680 microfarads, with 20% tolerance standard and 10% tolerance available.
